Some music

Since I have tons of work to do, it's more than certain I will be writing a post and trolling youtube. But I'm so fed up with classes, presentations, preparations, tests, reports etc. that a sheer thought about making a ppt on AfterWar Literature makes me sick.
And I'm catching up with late May releases, and some of them I put here.

Gentleman's Dignity OST

There is a small misunderstanding. Some deaf users around are writing that when hearing this song in this drama, they thought it was Jonghyeon. I really like Kim Taewu, but to confuse those two gentlemen (erhm... one is flairing up often lately) is like stepping on my...
No, wait... I'm dumb too. Now I realized that in this very drama there is Yi Jonghyeon from CNBlue, I think I saw him in one scene. Oooh, now I got it. But still, to confuse Kim Taewu with him??
Damn... I'm an idiot. But forgive me, mama dragon has to spit some fire protecting her baby dragon, right? (*baby, yeah... smug face*)

Come to the fandom they said...

Back in the days, when I was a fair maiden, I had no PC, no internet, but my heart was that of a fangirl always. I think everyone had such period in their life. Back in the 80’s or 90’s being a fan meant something totally different, insane to some point, yes, but purer and clearer than this bog we have now.
I don’t want to complain about the centre of all fandoms, I’m not going to argue whether this-or-that music is good or bad. Because, ultimately, it’s the music, right? I truly enjoy some Kpop bands/singers.
What I loathe is their fandoms.

In The Summer

OK, I decided this song deserves a separated post because of its awesomeness. I'm waiting eagerly for INFINITIZE so I could fangirl over the booklet and I'm waiting for a hidden message:P I absolutely love everything about this album, I just can't express it (or better - I pity all my friends who have to patiently listen to all my massive Kpop spazz. Sorry to all!).

Chunlips served

These lips made me lose focus completely. And since tumblr hates me when I try to upload files, fine, another solution.

Queen In-hyeon's Man again

tvN uploaded an official video called actually Parody MV - Kim Byungdo-ache. Oh, you know about them nomenclature in kdrama world. Character name+ache, as if it was some maladie. Maybe it is, because QIHM is reaching peaks of insane passion and love pours from virtually all who watch this. Like a fever spreading with the wind.
This drama has something that I wanted to see in RP - historical times.
Come to think of it, I need to pick up Mushin, because I have no sageuk/taeha now on my watching list. QIHM is a hybrid drama.

Hallyu future?

We've been saying this for some time now. K-entertainment needs a change, dramas need new ideas (main station dramas, somehow cable is doing just fine), Kpop needs new visuals.
I'm not saying every drama should look from now on like Game of Thrones (second season) but yes, we've been bitching about repetitiveness of those. New motifs, new plots (this is why I loved Evasive Inquiry Agency - no goddamn love-line!). Oh, and a new set of fangirls and netizens would be good too.
And if I may be viscious again - just when a band appeared that brings freshness and originality to to pop music, fans disregard their latest album as 'not MAMA-like'. Go to hell. And stay there.

INFINITIZE me...

This will be the only yellow element in my room. I can live with that.

... again and again and again. With the... nevermind. Although tracks were leaked yesterday, I'm a loyal fan and after running like mad from work to be on time when live streaming of their showcase started today, I listened to the full album.
And I like what I hear.
It's light, natural, unpretentious. It has clearly INFINITE mark on it, which is not all that liked among fans, from what I read. They say boys' tracks sometimes need to 'get used to those'. Of course they're different. Woolliment (a moment to kneel while saying thy holy name) is not a mainstream, huge agency like certain *cough* SMthing *cough*.

Junsu... not this time

Since both albums were released fairly close, I waited to combine both of them in one post. First thing first - where is my copy of Infinitize?? I need that!
Now, something more substantial. Oh, and just to warn everyone - I'm not going to bullcarp here.
On the second thought, I wrote more than I wanted, so two separated posts would do.

Dance Festival

Many people already know I love dance and dancing. Asian dance is very specific because it reverses the purpose. In Europe, we dance our waltzes to feel the pleasure out of it. In Asia, dance is preformed for the viewers' pleasure.
This also follows into group dances. They are focused on viewer's perspective, to look attractive from the other side.
But now, not about my spazzing over boy groups dancing (*o*), but something else - fusion of ballet and Korean tradition.
I love ballet too. Lately I've been to the performance consisting of various styles - from classical ballet to contemporary dance, and two of the latter were stunning. I thought I was indifferent towards modern dance, but dance to Queen's Who Wants To Live Forever (male dancer was on 2 meters stilts) and the other one - two high school boys, rocked the stage (hey, don't judge me!).
I still hate butoh though. Useless convulsion in the flour.

EXPO in Yeosu

It kicked off with some grand opening consisting of President Yi Myeongbak's speech and some Big Bang performing. Yeah, huge. Somehow EXPO was never on top of my favorite events, although this one... this one will be the most ardently hated by me (and few others friends I know). Oh you know, June 26th, INFINITE and SHINee on one stage. One day... *shrugs* Third time the charm maybe. Maybe Europe somewhere?

All entertainment agencies to be inspected

Few years too late, but it's better too late than never.

Chunnie in glasses

I just spammed happily every follower's dash on tumblr. And I regret nothing. I spam them with tons of Dino's posts every day so...

MBC Korean Music Wave in Google

Anyone in California?
This will be live streaming on google and *here* as well. Or maybe even here. I would stalk this event (or maybe even will), if some other bands were included. But SuJu fans will, I bet^^
More news under this long link.

Queen Inhyeon's Man - background

When SKKS was airing, I wrote about noron-soron hostility and court wars. The situation now, in QIHM is actually the very prelude to that situation.

Top 10 Idol Actors

Funny thing is, no one who saw this list complained about the first place. Less funny is the fact, there are some people who have absolutely no acting skills whatsoever. They should place KHJ aka The Table here as well.

Saju - Four Pillars

I heard the term "saju" for the first time in the drama Family's Honor. And since I have no will to make another vile post, I present you work of a lady, who talks about saju.

Dear K-Entertainment and fangirls!

Dear K-Entertainment and fangirls!

Not so long ago, although last year may seems to be like eons ago, one individual, surnamed Park, was classified as unable to actively serve for 2 damn years in the military. Few days ago, during a slow news week, this resurfaced. And, of course, it prompted many self-proclaimed till-death-do-us-part entertainment fangirls to buy rope to hang themselves, because all they read was “military service”. That reaction was fun though to read. But there is another group of fans that complain that every celebrity that is disappearing in the boots, serves not in the active camp (they clearly forgot about their precious will-remember-foreva!!1 oppa Hyeon Bin) but in the office.

Military Chun

JYJ's Park Yu-chun received a class four physical disability rating from a medical examination at the Military Manpower Administration, which means he will undertake his conscription service as a reserve conscript, most likely working as a public service worker. Those who are given a rating of four are exempt from full military training and act as reserve conscripts, often undertaking less strenuous or administrative duties for the military.

Queen In-hyun's Man

Since my friends are evil and without any mercy, plus, they're good at teasing, I started to watch this drama. No, no drama, series. Yet again, tvN proves it can make visually great series. Yet again I proved to myself I'm a "first episode" girl. I loved the first episode. I loved it.
First thing first, I had no intention to watch it, knowing it won't be full sageuk, but a hybrid one, with the motif of 'time jump'. Poster for this drama, as I wrote someplace else, was enough to put me off. Plus, both leads were not actually my cup of tea. Somehow I couldn't see them in sageuk settings, Yu Inna - because she's too doll-face, Ji Hyeonwu - because he's too tall.
Stupid reason, I know, I'm full of stupid reasons just fine.

INFINITE's comeback

I'd be happy if their comeback was in June. So that they could have a bit of rest. I don't want to see Wuhyeonnie dead-pale again. I want to see him sparkling and bouncy (well, he's always over-hyped anyway). Woollim released the album title now.
Nanana, I can't think now^^

Hey, I'm a pretty flower!

Physical transformation of an actor is a normal thing in a movie world. Let's just mention Russell Crowe, Christian Bale or Charlize Theron. In a normal world of fans such transformation meets either with praise or disbelief (some concern over health is also included). In an abnormal world of fans it meets with disgust and praying circle "for the actor to go back to his flower image".
