Quarantine Drawing Challenge

Since, apparently, the lockdown will last longer than 2 weeks, I'm starting the drawing challenge today. Yes, I called it quarantine not lockdown because of pure sound.
I will be updating this post, not create a separate one for each day.

BBC Animals Behaving Badly Series 3/3: Survival

In this last episode we had: hooligans, ravaging cities in search for some food, vandals - namely stone marten - that can cause 63 mln Euro car damages in Germany alone in a year!! Also, we had kidnappers and con artists - like a puff adder that can mask itself by not having any smell.

Saturday Poetry Corner 28: I said I splendidly loved you; it's not true

Today a little short poem by Rupert Brooke whose life was also short.

Rupert Chawner Brooke (middle name sometimes given as "Chaucer;" 3 August 1887 – 23 April 1915) was an English poet known for his idealistic war sonnets written during the First World War, especially "The Soldier". He was also known for his boyish good looks, which were said to have prompted the Irish poet W. B. Yeats to describe him as "the handsomest young man in England.”

[First Impression] Hi Bye Mama

Oh boy, now this is personal.

BBC Animals Behaving Badly Series 2/3: Hunger Wars

In this episode we had: kleptomaniacs, racketeers, thieves, cannibals, raiders and all others fun loving criminals :)
Also con artists - that would be Australian jumping spiders. Ever since meeting Gloria - I love them.

Saturday Poetry Corner 27: Alone

There are two poems bearing that name: one of E.A. Poe and the other by Maya Angelou. Somehow her poem reminded me of that of John Donne, so I'm throwing it in the mix as well.

[First Impression] When The Weather Is Fine

This is exactly what I liked and expected nothing less from JTBC - a slow, but beautiful show about dealing with the past and the scars, with the vulnerabilities, loneliness, with our hideouts and walls we raise to protect ourselves.

It will be picture heavy because this series is just so beautiful.

Throwback Thursday Part 52

Since today, as Twitter has taught me, is World Book Day, this time Throwback Thursday is to the songs inspired by books. Or short stories because Kim Jonghyeon.

[First Impression] Hyena

The four episodes are done, so I am writing a short, really short first impressions post about this SBS series. First thing first, I think SBS is still on Fiery Priest success high, so it employs similar technical tricks, albeit not up to this level of pure crazy energy as FP had.
Before I jump into some things related to the series itself, I have to say all the actors here are doing a splendid job, there is a certain level of freedom in their acting, but that's something to be expected from the people here.
Also, I have pics, and I'm not afraid to use them.

BBC Animals Behaving Badly Series 1/3: The Mating Game

We had bullies, temptresses, charlatans, warmongers... This is actually quite funny mini-series (only 3 episodes). I see some of the footage from other BBC nature documentaries (like 7 Worlds One Planet), but I honestly have nothing against seeing it again or from another angle.
