Celestial Cat releases a solo

   Jaejoong will release a mini album next year (prove that Mayans were damn wrong, the power of Celestial Cat overpowers that) and it will be a rock one. I'm not a fan of jrock but his Maze made waves here and there and fandom now lies defenseless without breasts, ovaries and probably wallets too.

I will judge when I listen to.

 

K-Entertainment Part 5

   The most important event for the past week would be without any doubt MAMA Awards ceremony, beating Oscars in "Length category" even.

I Need Coffee (Prince) 2.5

   Note to self - never make any plans that reach beyond 6 hours. On top of that I run out of coffee and if anyone needs to know something about me is the fact I drink enormous amounts of coffee without any apparent effect. Yet I'm drinking it because I like the smell and taste. Plus, when drinking at a cafe, barista can make those state-of-art pictures on foam, and you just sit there smiling at a cup like a brain-devoided idiot thinking how NOT to ruin this.

Since my day was ruined from the start and I didn't plan it, there came rain and steel-grey clouds that made this kitty very, very sleepy.

Confined to my chair that screeches worse than Alien Momma, I report on whatever goes around Kdramaland.

Top 10 Idol Actors

   Funny thing is, no one who saw this list complained about the first place. Less funny is the fact, there are some people who have absolutely no acting skills whatsoever. They should place KHJ aka The Table here as well.

Spring with dramas

   It's hard to follow certain tumblrs and not to get exposed to spoilers. Fans who have lots of time and software in their hands mercilessly spam the dash with gifs. I don't complain, since I'm pretty much indifferent to spoilers. Knowing the ending doesn't ruin the watching for me. Au contraire! It sometimes puts my heart at ease. It's not the case with currently airing dramas, though. We just have to bear with Devil-spawn that is Sena and wait until Lee Gak will finally stop being such a blockhead.

But this post is not about Rooftop Prince that is proudly reigning (sic!) on my watchlist, it's brilliant in many aspects. And since many of my friends say otherwise, it's more than predictable I'd say that.

Also, I never run out of ideas what to watch, I don't squeal for recommendations as many morons on D-A, I don't have draught seasons too. Dramawiki is mah friend and synopsis is more than enough to... make me curious, yeah (sung along SHINee's Sherlock, dammit...)

   No, the ceremony will be held in April, but I started to stalk their website (link courtesy of KingKong Ent), and I came accross "popularity" part. Voting is from 3 parties: websites like Nate, Olleh, phone calls, and android app. Until April 23rd.

JYJ about recent situation

I'm not sure if it's they that should be apologizing right now. Oh, sorry for being famous and having to suffer because of sasaengs' mental problems. But well, in Korea they apologize for everything (having girlfriend ie.) so...
Good they did that though, and to all that stopped supporting JYJ basing on this issue - go to hell. And stay there.

Sasaeng fans were persistent and swift. Without a doubt, ‘sasaeng fans’ caught up with JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong during his interview with ‘Oh My Star’ last summer.

That day, two females in their early 20s waited at the door of the office anxiously and hired taxis to go after Kim Jaejoong’s car. In the end, it disrupted his schedule. We were certain that his face hardened for a while when he heard about the constant appearances of ‘sasaeng fans’ who were unconcerned about the interview held in the news organization.

News articles and audio files, which were reportedly recorded by sasaeng people back in 2009 when the three were still with boy band TVXQ, were uploaded on Korean websites alleging that two JYJ members cursed and hit these “fans” out of exasperation of being constantly stalked.

Though media is to be unbiased and show all sides of a situation, unilateral attacks against JYJ were made by a “D media source” and aroused the anger of many fans.

   I was about to immerse myself in Unified Silla article, yet I went to tumblr. And the storm there, the storm...

First, I will present you a short story. There is a very famous guy. And there is another guy who is stalking him, well, not exactly stalking, sasaeng-ing him, meaning - he has double keys to famous guy house, he left blood notes, he has ID number, phone number etc. One day this guy comes to the famous guy house and get's slapped. No one cares - it's man to man, mano-a-mano blah blah. Another story - there is this girl, very famous, she has a stalker guy who breaks into her house, wears her underwear and lefts some 'personal fluids' on her bed. One day she comes back and the guy is waiting so she kicks him in the groins making sure he'll never be a father. Brave girl, right?

Now we have two things combined.

   At least he rules the K-entertainment world. Lately Jaejung tweeted he's sorry for something. Turned out... OK, better sit, cause this is good. Celestial Cat is sorry for CGV theater cancelling the movie about JYJ. Sky is blue, grass is green, JYJ get crap everyday.

Why the hell he had to apologize for some company that cancelled in a really fishy way their agreement? But well, this is Jae. He just acts this way.

Except for 2NE1 I don't listen to girls' groups (and even 2NE1 I listen when I want to 'shake that thing' only), so lack of them here is justified, right?

Let's start from the latter. He was awarded, yes, yet again for his acting skills. Not for filling the Tokyo Dome with eels (well, Cassies did fill it in the times long past, true), not for plonking on guitar pretending to act.

Yucheon won the Best New Actor Award with Lee Ki-gwang at the 2011 MBC Drama Awards held on the 30th of December at the MBC Dream Center.

He said, "I am so grateful. I know how much this means to the young actors who get this award. It's such a great honor".
He added, "It's especially a big and meaningful award for me. I think it's something you're giving me even though I'm in a difficult situation". (after HanCinema)

Kisses genres

Great, my screen is clean again^^ This is called "screen kiss".

   This is fun! I thought a kiss is just a kiss, but no, not in Korea. There are kisses and KISSES according to this article on HanCine. While reading this I suddenly realized that those categories are just lame and inadequate to variety of Kdrama kisses! "Foam kiss", "kimchi kiss"? Oh, pleeze, spread the word, good villagers, and let's create challenging (because Kdrama writers are sometimes" challenged" already) kiss categories!

Not for teenagers, mothers and all that element in society that feels uneasy seeing kisses. Imageheavy post.

JYJ donation for Thailand Flood Relief

JYJ worked with the World Vision in Thailand Emergency Relief for Flood Recovery group and donated 200 million won to help them with their fundraising goals.
