2011 Dramas

Not that last year was prolific with outstanding dramas. Bad thing - it wasn't. I dropped more dramas than in previous years combined. Those years past I finished almost all dramas I started, but with Secret Garden last year I had an epiphany. I realized I have no obligation whatsoever to finish the drama I have no feel for, or I didn't "click" with it.
And I have problem with classifying *fangirl alert* What's Up! or Padam Padam. Fact, those both started last year, but I prefer to treat them as 2012 dramas. Why? Because 2011 was a crappy year for me.
Yeah, maybe biased list, maybe no one agrees with me (but I won't cry in the corner as 'certain someone The Diva'), yet I don't impose my opinion, so feel free to disagree.
I respect my dearest readers opinions and taste as well.
As long as they won't steal one of my 82673512365 loves.

Kisses genres

Great, my screen is clean again^^ This is called "screen kiss".

This is fun! I thought a kiss is just a kiss, but no, not in Korea. There are kisses and KISSES according to this article on HanCine. While reading this I suddenly realized that those categories are just lame and inadequate to variety of Kdrama kisses! "Foam kiss", "kimchi kiss"? Oh, pleeze, spread the word, good villagers, and let's create challenging (because Kdrama writers are sometimes" challenged" already) kiss categories!

Not for teenagers, mothers and all that element in society that feels uneasy seeing kisses. Imageheavy post.

KAU - Y U not in Hanguk?

While having my head spinning by both fever and Rigveda analysis I decided to have a break and go through some standard websites.
Ji Seong adressed the issue we've been b*tchin for over... oh, I don't know - always, maybe?
More actors should talk about this, because this is not one and not two dramas we are talking about. And, well, SBS is known for such actions, they did exactly the same with YAB, and they did the same with Bad Guy. He should be grateful if he's getting paid for that, cause some aren't that lucky.
Oh and KAU - Korean Actors Union is a non-existant unit in Korea, and they should form this.
Accidentally, "kau" in Japanese means "to buy" and it fits perfectly to the situation when TV Broadcast buys the actors and staff, and the audience buys the drama (and all that accompanies that). And we all buy sh*tload of TV promises and fake smiles of tired, exploited actors.
The article is below.

Protect the Fluff

This is not going to be one of my (in)famous reviews that take 40 pages. It's rather a short post about the drama I finished (yey!) two days ago and enjoyed to the last episode. This is this kind of drama I watch not for a particular actor/actress but for the premonition that it would be fun. And it was. It was wacky, unpredictable (in some cases) and cute story. A drama about few people and how their lifes changed.
Nothing new, huh?

Fangirls, y u have no brain?

The Ceiling Cat... eeh... Celestial Being
To answer this gripping and academically written question - because if they had, they would evolve into normal fans. You know what atrophy is? Exactly, in case of fangirls it's a brain atrophy.

August dramas

Right now I'm stuck with 6 dramas, and I pray some of them should end before September hits. Not the one that started last Saturday. It is scheduled for 50 episodes (kyaaing with happiness), but some will probably end. I have no eyes and time for more, to be honest, and there are some older ones I'd like to watch as well.
Not that anyone should care what I think about this-and-this drama, but since I started to do such short reviews and explaining why I'm watching, I decided to write again. As all reviews, be it mine or anyone else's, it is subjective. Highly subjective. Sometimes it's my personal whim why I start some dramas, sometimes plot interests me, and sometimes the names. Yes, I do watch dramas for names.
