Little update

I'm not dead yet, today I'm really close to it, however.
February is a horrible month for K-entertainment, one of the worsts in few years. And only SHINee shining comeback is actually the beam of light (well, a horrible flowery pajama beam of light, to tell the truth).

"Double, double toil and trouble;

Manekineko wishes you all good year and invites you to cray cray world^^
... Fire burn and cauldron bubble."

A post totally made for fun and with fun (or frustrations, whatever). While I'm slowly trudging through award shows (12 parts to dl and watch), I prepared this for all of you to have fun.
There are "prediction posts" everywhere, in K-entertainment too, so to entertain ourselves, let's make predictions for year 2013.
What are your predictions? Free your mind, and the rest will follow^^

K-Entertainment Part 5

The most important event for the past week would be without any doubt MAMA Awards ceremony, beating Oscars in "Length category" even.
Anything else?

Jeong Jaeyoung's Day

There is a reason for everything. For me staying weirdly up until 1.30 am too. So that I could read 2 tweets regarding my men, kkk^^
Chosun Ilbo:
A day of cinema dedicated to actor Jung Jae-young will take place at the CGV Apgujeong multiplex in Seoul on Monday.
Movie Collage, an indie movie brand operated by CJ CGV, will screen Jung's top films including his latest movie "Confession of Murder," and hold a Q&A session with the star.
Other films to be featured on the day are "Someone Special" (2004), "Welcome to Dongmakgol" (2005), "Going by the Book" (2007), and "Moss" (2010).

Little drama to defend myself

Can't complain, we had beautiful October this year, and the sunshine "slightly" disrupted both my work and drama-watching. But since last Sunday one wheel of my bike almost exploded, I'm confined to the room, actually doing something. Not because I want to, I have to. *slurps coffee*
I'm trying to keep up with dramas that started last weeks, but will plunge more into it next week, I guess. So far, I put on the list The Great Seer and anticipating few more.

Confession of Murder

One of them is creepy here. And it's not my JJY this time...
Well, that would be mine, if this movie doesn't come my way any time soon. I realized that it takes a lot of patience to be me, waiting and waiting. And waiting some more. For movies, series, albums... Or maybe it's just that I really have no luck with men whatsoever. However, I prefer them doing one drama/movie per year (or one album every 4 years!!) than releasing anything/touring which just keunsucks. Whatever.

10 dramas to avoid (if you don’t want to hate Kdramaland for life)

As always, everything is filtered through my personal experience, so it is more than obvious that some may find this post informative yet some others – heretical and start to track my IP just to know where to send a dead horse’s head. That’s fine, I’m prepared for that. Likewise, some dramas I love to bits other people may find idiotic, bad, mediocre, cheesy and – in other dictionary riches – unwatchable. I don’t care, I won’t stop loving them (sung along Van Halen’s Can’t Stop Loving You) just because others do.
Anyway, my All-Time (that is up to August 2012) Top 10 of Worst Dramas Eva!

Baeksang Popularity Awards

It has been decided, as the voting was counted from netizens' side.
I barely make any sense, sorry.

I Am Murderer

free image hosting

Good to know.
So, the movie has finished filming and according to this article it will be released in the secong half of this year.
More about this movie can be found here, if you want. As for me, I don't really care about the plot, about second lead, about anything. It's another movie of Mr. Jeong, and that's all that is relevant in this little world of mine.

Kisses genres

Great, my screen is clean again^^ This is called "screen kiss".

This is fun! I thought a kiss is just a kiss, but no, not in Korea. There are kisses and KISSES according to this article on HanCine. While reading this I suddenly realized that those categories are just lame and inadequate to variety of Kdrama kisses! "Foam kiss", "kimchi kiss"? Oh, pleeze, spread the word, good villagers, and let's create challenging (because Kdrama writers are sometimes" challenged" already) kiss categories!

Not for teenagers, mothers and all that element in society that feels uneasy seeing kisses. Imageheavy post.

Adopt me!

Uhm. OK, after crawling back from gutter, I'm there yet again...
Full resolution of pics, and some others that didn't interest me are here under that link.
The campaign is called Love Letter Campaign and targets the adoption of abandoned babies. Not that maternal instincts suddenly kicked in, but any reason to mention flawless being that is Park Shihu is a good reason.
Three more under the cut.

PSH - uhm, my mind?

What is it anyway?
Click on your own risk
Yes, I can't sleep so I google all my men (and young men). Yes, I had an encounter today with a big frakking, beasty dog. I love this little ironies in life.

Europe Needs

Actress Jeong Ryeo-won and actor Park Si-hoo have been named promotional ambassadors to raise awareness of Korea.
The Korea Tourism Organization said, "We chose two stars with upstanding and sophisticated images to promote the charm and beauty of Korea". (source)

Oh yes, we here in Europe are in a serious need of Shihu. Uhm... the awareness, yes yes, this one. Uhm, whatever...

TPM - cast thoughts

Actually I didn't plan to "officially" release this short article because it's nothing new. It has five main actors speaking a bit about their characters and favorite scenes. That's all. Article is around one week old, I guess, but can't verify this (and have absolutely no will to do it).
Forgive me any typos, unlike other translations I wrote not in Word, as usually everything, but directly here.

TPM - writers

This time, what writers have to say about the drama and the cast. As we know (or maybe not), this drama had two writers, one that wanted to focus on the revenge and Seung-yu as the main axis, the other - love story and Seryeong. We got a lovely caesura after the harsh kidnapping and the story went more romantic from that moment on, and Seung-yu showed yet again his change (good thing he didn't develop split personalities).

Kim Yeongcheol on Park Shihu

Kim Yeongcheol: "I realized why Park Shihu was the hero".
That's the title of the translated article below. If it wasn't for other things that kept me far from TPM and articles, all would be ready by last Thursday, but well, I'm no happy student that can neglect the homework. Plus, it got really cold here and my fingers are numb (sniff...), need some hawt body to warm them up.
Nevermind...
Oh, to just warn everyone - you may not like some of this man's statements. Being honest is apparently equal to being rude and insulting people. So I read.

‘Nightly assassin’

Another translated article. This time with glossary, because without it, my work is just some  incomprehensible blabbering. I tried my best to translate it in an understandable way, but it's impossible without additional information. I also left few words in original in parentheses, just in case anyone wants to translate them in your way.

I'm dead. Call others.

I read the rumors about that, not believing a word, but since it's been... (*collecting words*) since it's... uhmm.. Nevermind, I forgot what I wanted to write.
Jeong Jaeyoung was in a movie with Kim Namgil, and now with Park Shihu. I call it quits, K-entertainment is seriously bound to destroy me.

Cuts

Yes, I will write that publicly - FileFactory is a bunch of non-professionals. I stored there my files, because they promised to "keep your files for-eva" (say that with Latrine's accent and you'll get my point). Well, apparently "forever" means to them - until we make a change and won't inform you about that. All my files are lost now, and some of them were for my students. And some of them were Namgil-nim. So yes, I'm so pissed off nothing actually can pacify me right now. Very professional. Now their policy is - 90 days. So no, thank you, I think I'll switch to megaupload for saving me files. So if you find any link on this blog that is broken - don't blame me.
Anyway, two cuts today from weekend shows.

Park Shihu's metamorphosis

What is the best way to spend a boring hour of consultations when no one is coming? Of course with your friendly uncle google. This may lead to short yet cute articles. I wrote cute, because this one I translated below is full with word "sexy" instead of many other synonyms, namely Park Shihu, just to start with. Ekhem. I would put that earlier, but my laptop's keyboard broke down finally and I was looking for some yesterday. Plus, my internetz run away from me also yesterday, and today... eh, better not to tell. I was given a week voucher for a fitness club by my friend, so I will work out all my stress there, ahaha!
Ekhem, back to normal state. Translated article is below.
