Blue Night Update 3

  

   I know, I'm not a good blogger recently, but I have no time these days. Granted, I watch dramas and try to commit to watching them (although God's Gift is somehow on hold now), and even to re-watch some dramas (hey, ladies!), but reading all the time allows me to listen to music more. And since I heard that Spotify actually pays a bit artists, I decided to go there whenever possible. They don't have everything but for most of the time I'm not complaining.

I also have my other source of music, that is Blue Night radio show. I have to admit, sometimes I feel like I'm making those playlists, but sometimes I don't know even a single artist there. Which is good, because I learn this way.

The man loves music and songs and as I'm listening to it right now, Jonghyeon beside being his normal dorky self, introduces some nice songs as well, and sometimes (once so far, but it's only 33 minutes of the program) he sings as well.

My nuna hart can barely contain all these feels...

   Oh well, not every year may be the fountain of new music springing from the depths of the world (and internets). 2013 was not that year.

World went crazy for Miley Tongus' racy video which for me was just a plain attempt coming from an attentionwh*re, thankfully Gangnam Style stopped being played in every damn radio station all over the globe, million new bands debuted and EXO had their ball-of-fur comeback.

Nothing would be surprising IF I didn't have 4 articles waiting and a month to write them. Plus, some other things. Oh well, fangirling won't do itself.

May The Music Be With You

Lame title, I know, but with recent news regarding SHINee's very own Dino and his accident, I'm happy I can actually write here.

As for new music, to be honest, nothing knocked me down my feet (SHINee excluded, thankyouverymuch), however I feel obliged to report on this 1% of whatever I'm listening to and maybe someone would find this useful. Doubtful, very doubtful, but whatever.

Music Round-up

   I'm so behind with drama episodes and some new music I'm actually ashamed to show up here. However, I managed to muster up the remnants of my courage and write few lines about recent releases that caught my attention.

But first... SMEnt made SHINee comeback without Jonghyeon. Yes, you read that right, my fellow martyrs of SM brilliant tactics - WITHOUT the ultimately overwhelming shining bling!

Add this to the long hate-list.

For f*ck's sake, just don't swear!

   I love Knetizens because I always liked stories about insanity, creepiness and in overall The Fall of Ushers. They are consistent in fact - they can never, ever let you down in category of "let's ridicule ourselves. Again". So if anything happens in Kfandom funky world - check comments and your world will soon become brighter. Well, brighter than K-ent anyway. (pun intended).

Little update

   I'm not dead yet, today I'm really close to it, however.

February is a horrible month for K-entertainment, one of the worsts in few years. And only SHINee shining comeback is actually the beam of light (well, a horrible flowery pajama beam of light, to tell the truth).

 

22nd Seoul Music Awards

You're really sick when you see one thing...

Seoul Music Awards. Self-explanatory. Although I'm not happy with all the choices, but it's a given I just HAVE to rant and miaoul and maul other artists in favor of my own.

Oh yes, I'm high on sugar so I may not make sense.

Troll vs. Troll

   In case any of you thought I forgot mah baby just because I mentioned him only once today, no no. Kpop is full with weird or fun friendships (what can they do, they have no possibility to meet other people so...) but those two idiots erhmm... gentlemen erhmm...  guys troll each other in a way that amuses half of the fandom. The other half is annoyed by Jjong's very existence so it doesn't amuse them.

2012 in Music

   Some people say 2012 was a bad year in Kpop, others say it was better than 2011. I've seen better than both, but the problem doesn't lie in Kpop as the bubble, but in those who blow it. If big agencies don't change, Kpop as a total mayhem phenomenon won't change as well.

There were some good things in 2012 music and some bad things. Anything fresh and outstanding?

   Last year I prepared my first post summing up the whole 2011 in broadly perceived Kpop funky land. This time - 2012 in a perspective of one rarely serious idiot fangirl, that is me. Like it's any different from any other post >.> 

What happened to Kpop Imaginarium this past year? Quite a lot, yet not everything on huge scale. And to calm down all shivering with antici...pation - "Oppa didn't mean it" is also here.

I didn't include all 6589 debuts of nugu groups and all comebacks because that would use up all my bandwidth (and next week).

   A post totally made for fun and with fun (or frustrations, whatever). While I'm slowly trudging through award shows (12 parts to dl and watch), I prepared this for all of you to have fun.

I've been thinking lately (yeah it happens, thankfully not that often) about the current situation in Kpop, and I wanted to write a separated post with my thoughts on one particular group that I think should disband ASAP. But since someone wrote an article about the oversaturation of the market with rookie groups, I decided to merge and post my thoughts nonetheless, since in the industry a new trend has emerged - leaving the group.

And coincidentally, all that discontent happens only after JYJ shook up the whole entertainment.

The post below expresses my and only my thoughts that may not be edible for fangirls.
