   Nothing major happened. I'm kind of busy, so I barely have time to bitch blog about anything. With all what is happening in real life, I adopted new attitude to everything that surrounds me: fuckit happy-go-lucky. And with that upbeat mood, I present you 4th installment of news roundup regarding our lovely kindergarden that is K-entertainment with me as the Marry Poppins from hell.

   This hater can't refrain from commenting on this spectacular event. Gyaru subculture is osmosing into other countries (believe me I saw them in Europe), so of course Korea's leading fashion criminal fashionista, that is The Diva, had to dress him-/her-/itself up as one. Of course all was done as a parody of a parody from a comedy live show. Just so such antis as myself could be easily shut down with: "you have no sense of humor! Oppa was joking!" Oh yeah, I do get it, his entire public persona is a huge joke right now, ha ha ha.

All jokes aside, gyaru subculture scares the living crap out of me, puzzles and makes me vomit. I find nothing cute in it.

   As always, everything is filtered through my personal experience, so it is more than obvious that some may find this post informative yet some others – heretical and start to track my IP just to know where to send a dead horse’s head. That’s fine, I’m prepared for that. Likewise, some dramas I love to bits other people may find idiotic, bad, mediocre, cheesy and – in other dictionary riches – unwatchable. I don’t care, I won’t stop loving them (sung along Van Halen’s Can’t Stop Loving You) just because others do.

   Physical transformation of an actor is a normal thing in a movie world. Let's just mention Russell Crowe, Christian Bale or Charlize Theron. In a normal world of fans such transformation meets either with praise or disbelief (some concern over health is also included). In an abnormal world of fans it meets with disgust and praying circle "for the actor to go back to his flower image".

   No, the ceremony will be held in April, but I started to stalk their website (link courtesy of KingKong Ent), and I came accross "popularity" part. Voting is from 3 parties: websites like Nate, Olleh, phone calls, and android app. Until April 23rd.

   New semester started and I had no time to make a proper post, but I just got back from work (yes, this semester also on Saturdays), filled meself with tortilla (I'll starve until Monday after that, I bet), ready to roll in the deep. With Kpop.

My oh my, so much happened! I don't remember now, but I don't think I was THIS busy updating myself with western entertainment world when I was misguided then and it was before I discovered one true path leading to enlighte... to rofl, OK.

   I’ve been planning to write on this topic for a long, long time. Somehow other things got in a way and this was postponed. Finally, I had some time to spare and collect my (scarce) thoughts and write a post.

My affair with Korean entertainment developed into serious relationship, this is why so many things amuse me now. Fangirls are one thing, but illusions that fangirls have, are infecting, oops, I mean, influencing the journalism in Korea. And this is not about ‘we-all-know-which-website’ articles. This is about the trend that has roots in fangirls’ perception of their bubble world and how it affect the real world.

Asia Prince neglected

   See, there is a good reason why I can't take Japanese seriously. I was never an avid fan of either manga or anime. The series I read/watched was mostly non shoujo, so I can't really connect with all this fandom ("Evangelion" for Eva!!! *jeez, I'm a genius*). Worse, I despise this one and the whole yaoi genre as well. I guess I wrote once why I hate yaoi so much. Everyone is entitled to one's own opinion, some may love it, some may hate it. I'm a hater then.

   The worst movie since 100 Days With Mr. Arrogant. That should be the end of my review.

Don't watch it. Ever. Never. Watch Twilight instead, at least it has some nice shots of Vancouver forests.

There is no plot, no acting, no good music, no characters. Only Jang and his fake cuteness dipped in high cut curl conditioner.

Good points? Oh yes, there is one, for antropologists - to observe how a flock of fangirls faints over ticket alone and sqeals while main character is on screen doing something (don't ask me what).

The Prince of Asia is so generous!!

   OK, I have enough of alcohol in my blood right now, so whatever I write may be just taken as blabbering. JYJ young men and Jaejung alone had made the donations (they are probably the most charity obsessed people in showbusiness) beside ELLE editorial. And now what I read? That our beloved Queen... no, not yet, Prince of Asia donated to his Alma Mater. U jealous, Jang? In this article (beware, some photo there is) this honorable deed is mentioned as if he saved million kids in Africa from hunger (and no Twitter to brag about, ooh). Don't get me wrong, donation is a good thing, especially from people who have something to donate. But... This action is wrong on so many levels I had to drink another mug of mulled wine to clear things out.

   Oh please, by any means, go go. 

I just came back from work, somehow excited with my students progress and, I don't know, feeling this strange vibration of joy for an unknown reason, being caught by rain (au contraire - it was I who caught rain by surprise, haha!, because I had my umbrella ella ella e... damn it) and then - what awaited me? Paradise repackage album! I wasn't expecting it at all because I calculated it would arrive in November (yeah, need to restart on my math I guess). Anyway, after starting my pc, I checked regular websites, KNG - still in the army, nothing changed, PSH - still flawless, nothing changed, Yucheon - blabbering about fishing, nothing changed, Infinite - infinitely worthy, nothing changed. After reading the translation on their fan page that I will provide in the next post, I decided to write something about something... someone. Whoops.

My dear bitch friend Orion made a post about that as well, and I was hesitant to taint my blog with that, but reading what those 7 boys have to say I decided I will unleash some hell as well (that even makes me rhyme, maybe I should leave that depressing research mess and become a poetess?).

   Oh, September 4th looks like a good day for a little bitchin'. I haven't done this in a while, so my mechanisms might have rusted a bit. Lemme check... yes, a bit on the "stupid side", yess... WTF also works, I just need some grease to make it work smoothly. And here we have all I need.

There is not that much things in Kpop that prompt my "bitch glands" to explode, actually. And this is something quite unusual for me. JYJ are quietly doing what they do best - not appearing on TV, mah other boys are doing just fine, SHINee released ultimately stupid j-version of Juliette (and I have no even the slightest will to slate this, not even Jongie baby saved that, it's a crap). So, in my Kpop sandbox everything is fairly normal.

Well... I wouldn't run that fast if I met such hunter... Oh damn... wrong post. I thought about the next one I gathered pics and had to come back to life. Ekhem. City Hunter starts next week.
