Impossible to chose just one. Many dramas had one or two, or twelve pieces I liked, so I'll present just a sample.

[Advent drama calendar 2019] Day 12: Favorite OST
I might have not watched much, but I've listened to probably 73% of 2019 Korean soundtracks. And honestly, I can't decide on my favorite - maybe One Spring Night because it's soft, jazzy and soulful. Or maybe My Country New Age - because of its grandiose orchestral score? Or maybe Kill It - for pulling the biggest joke with that cover.

Wow, Fantastic February!
In terms of music, of course. And it's not about the music that was released in February, but the music *I* discovered in February.
And that makes it fantastic.
Disclaimer: I will not review Kim Jonghyeon's "BASE". My rational mind wants to, but my devotion gets the better of me.
So, off to some music! There will be lots of extremely slow, sad ballads, so beware!

Through June With Music
Or whatever is left of June anyway. My persistent habit of writing random words into YouTube, and now spotify, has been always paying off with finding few really nice artists like Jordan Chan Siu Chun (Traditional Chinese: 陳小春) whose album was a pleasant surprise (oh well, year 2001 in Asian R'n'B was a good year). Or some progressive metal band...
Special thanks go to Viande, who linked Yong Junhyeong's mini album and I fell for it hopelessly. My neighbours are probably less grateful to you, hon^^

Handful of music
In the previous post about Taiwan music, I mentioned the new album of Anthony Neely and now I am after listening to it. The opinion? Sadly, the album is nothing special. If it wasn't for Neely's rich voice, I wouldn't even be bothered to listen to it. OK, I lied, I would, because I listen to a lot of albums. But it's nothing memorable, that's it.
OK, back to some more music.

Music Once Again
Goddamit, the OST for Thor 2 is so so booooring! But Brian Tyler was never my favorite score composer anyway, so it's not like I'm disappointed or anything.
And you know, when even Ryan Gosling scolds you for not writing more often, it means something's not right. Ekhem, back to music and NO Jjong today. Let's commemorate this with one minute of silence.

Short music news
I'm not doing a proper review. I never did. Lately I've been reading some books and articles on structure, anthropology and culture of popculture (focusing on music, damn I'm rhyming) so I know I'm not a proper critic. However I really like to talk about music, about what moved me, what didn't and why Jonghyeon is a supernatural being.
Well, OK, no Jjong in this post but... (in Minho's voice) he's back!

May The Music Be With You
Lame title, I know, but with recent news regarding SHINee's very own Dino and his accident, I'm happy I can actually write here.
As for new music, to be honest, nothing knocked me down my feet (SHINee excluded, thankyouverymuch), however I feel obliged to report on this 1% of whatever I'm listening to and maybe someone would find this useful. Doubtful, very doubtful, but whatever.

Music Round-up
I'm so behind with drama episodes and some new music I'm actually ashamed to show up here. However, I managed to muster up the remnants of my courage and write few lines about recent releases that caught my attention.
But first... SMEnt made SHINee comeback without Jonghyeon. Yes, you read that right, my fellow martyrs of SM brilliant tactics - WITHOUT the ultimately overwhelming shining bling!
Add this to the long hate-list.

April Music
Ever since April 1st Jonghyeon has been in hospital, but the single with his song for King's Dream drama was released. Drama is a crap, but not the song. And before you judge me - I'm not a deaf fan saying all songs by someone are masterpieces and should be adorned with diamonds. I fiercely hate Jjong's Girls and Kangta's 7989. And I don't listen to those.

Let's Say Spring Music
It's still snowing, the Spring is reluctant to come to Europe. But finally I managed to get out from Kpop slump and listen to something. As usual - Melon and Bugs charts come handy. This past quarter those are heavily hip-hop (read: hep-hap) infected, and although I'm able to listen to rap parts in songs if I have to, I'm not able to listen to full heavy hiphopped song. Cause I don't like it. Don't judge me. Or judge, I don't care.
That's why I think Seo Inguk's song could do just fine without this rap by Verbal Jint.

More music^^
I know, I'm a horrible blogger recently. But one of my new year's resolutions is to write more often. I won't promise anything since this year is really a hard one.
I put most of the dramas on hold, and since some new ones came into play, probably will make a new post over the weekend gathering all that's on my plate now.
Right now, some music.

Santa's music
Right now I have some break between classes so not to waste time, I decided to write few words about music. I listen to tons of music, good, better, great and... well, less good. But I listen no matter what because at least I want to know what I have to trash. One exception, I couldn't listen to The Diva's full album because, afterall, I have some dignity, and as we were taught by Gene Kelly - "dignity... always dignity".
