Nice Guy
Oh, we know Song Junggi a.k.a. Ara's petto can be nice. This drama - not exactly. That would be a revenge drama, and let's hope a little bit more consistent that Bad Guy (I just have to mention that, right?). The drama is penned by Lee Kyeonghee who was also responsible for such tearjerkers and heartwrenchers like Thank You and Sorry I Love You (not to mention Love to Kill).
And since that would be Song's first leading role in a drama, let's wish him good luck with that.

Deep Rooted Tree
Sageuk, sageuk everywhere! After the first episode I know who Suyang takes after. The first episode was very fast, and it's not a rule in a period drama, usually it starts slow and needs 4-6 episodes to fully bloom. But after The Princess' Man I'm not really sure if any near historical stuff can sweep me off my feet again so ferociously. And the more I watch period dramas the more pleasure I find in the shadow politics, forcing, distorting, scheming and plotting. The impuissance of people who, faced with cruelty, can do really nothing but wait and get stronger, the smouldering revenge and consumming flames of emotions... all this moves me more than jaebol's problems, seriously. Period dramas have also one more advantage - they are huge in terms of feelings and people. There is broader spectrum of emotions and characters.
Having said that, let's look at that tree.

| A treat for band members in US? |
There was this song by Depeche Mode , and I feel exactly like it. Because some men turn me into damn sinner.
Well, some gender-confused as well. Because I sin against my own gender for not looking as pretty as them. Plus, cursing also counts.
Yes, I did some cuts from Entertainment Weekly last episode.
Yucheon sweety, Ha Jung Woo, and Ga... I mean The Diva. Yes, you read that right. Because the rankings in EW is just becoming weirder by the day. This time topic: Kkotboda Namja. That is... hell, I think everyone knows what's coming. And everyone can guess the winner.

47th Baeksang Awards
47th Baeksang Awards 2011
Yucheon got 2, and Ha Jungwoo got 1. I'm heppey, yess...
Oh, and just to bitch over the "Best Drama" category. Personally I couldn't finish, and probably never will Secret Garden. 2010 had few better drama than this, and I seriously don't understand the hype. It wasn't bad drama, no, but you see, I'm on 36th episode of Gisaeng... and waiting impatiently for another episode, and it took me a month to move from episode 10 to 12 in SG. Gumiho: Tale of the Fox Child was by far better than this, Life Is Beautiful was better, hell, SKKS was better. Just don't get it.
Now you can throw rocks.

Song Junggi on SKKS
I just got this in my KBS newsletter. I checked the website, and voila!
The boy is cute and kinda honest about his work. But I must say - Dirty Carnival? With your face??
And I'm not naive, I don't believe either in SKKS 2 or a movie. Would be nice to have another opportunity to drool over Yucheon in robes and gat, but I know it won't happen.
Article for petto and Kang Dongwon lovers out there, keke...

G-Love: cut from I Love Movies
A cut showing a bit of behind the scenes, and commentary on JJY by Director. I'm back to cutting the shows again.
There is also small cut of moments at KBS Drama Awards, but not from the Awards Ceremony (I haven't seen it still, yess...), but pett... I mean Song Junggi acceptance speech (and his gratitude to his Grandmother), and of kors Yucheon's arrival.
