[Advent Drama Calendar 2020] Day 17: Which drama no one talked about did you love discovering?

Since I missed on the, apparently, eons in dramawatching history, this year I watched some shows that aired in the past and maybe then they garnered some buzz but it wasn't mine to witness. Especially the mini-series, which I will not count here.
Anyway, here it goes.

TV Series Opening 48: The Victim's Game

I missed Taiwanese shows so I started to watch it. If you thought Bones had gross imagery (decaying corpses et. al), this one is not for you.

I've always liked number 21 so I waited for this to post the opening to the series everybody knows I love.

Thirty Something - First Impressions

I know little about the insurance companies' policy, so I try my best to follow the plot here. I liked this drama from the first episode, mainly because of Xiu Jie Kai, who has a spot in my drama landscape.

Bromance ruminations

I think at this point I can honestly say I am ready to write some thoughts I've been having regarding this series. Twdramas are in constant pendulum motion from cute/sweet/cheesy/lovely to serious. This bipolar disorder is not something that is easy to accept and appreciate. Personally, I do not like all-serious episodes after episodes. Sure, I can appreciate, but I do not enjoy. There has to be light so we could see the shadows (oh, what a pathos, good one) and fluff is something to counterbalance our real life. I'd much rather see a silly series that makes me feel good, makes me believe world is not what it seems every damn day, makes me all giggly and happy inside. And one day, Bromance came my way as I intended to return to dramaland. And what a return it was! Two series were mentioned on Instagram and I decided to watch first episodes of both, Marry Me, Or Not? and Bromance.

Bromance introduction post

If you don't like the drama after this scene, there is no hope for you...

Two more from episode 6 down there:

Dramas Keep Fallin' On My Head...

... But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the dramas by complainin'
Because I'm free
Nothin's worryin' me...

Nothing would be surprising IF I didn't have 4 articles waiting and a month to write them. Plus, some other things. Oh well, fangirling won't do itself.

I'm So Furious, Yeah

Well, actually not that much but... In days like this what a girl wants is just some drama to make her life brighter or at least bearable. Sadly as for Kdrama, nothing makes me thrilled. It might be also some other evil neighbour's creation that I can't get into the mood of watching anything. Autumn's Concerto came, crushed all and left, leaving me unable to get into any Kdrama. Actually no, that's not this series' fault. It's because current "Main 3" prime-time productions are crap.
And Mandate of Heaven I'm pinning all my interest on now just aired first episode today.

The Fluff and Bluff

And so I started Gu Family Book for my own undoing. I have few dramas I'm watching (see side panel) and few dramas I'm watching irregularly because of no subs or slow subs. I just stare at people (*cough cough*) in Di Jin because of no subs whatsoever, and I'm hopelessly waiting someone will sub Happy 300 Days, because it does seem like an awesome, slice-of-life drama.

Spring in Dramaland

 photo Untitled-1copy.jpg

If anyone has allergy to Kpollen, well, annoying times approach. You better have your meds and tissues.
Last season was somehow dry for Kdrama. I dropped almost all dramas that started airing last year or at the beginning of this one, with the exception of Missing You, which, although being a happy trainwreck from around ep 15, managed to clutch me tight within its grip and I genuinely anticipated what the next episode will bring.
But spring season looks quite promising (all pinky and fluff and petals, I will explode with kawaii soon).
