August dramas
Right now I'm stuck with 6 dramas, and I pray some of them should end before September hits. Not the one that started last Saturday. It is scheduled for 50 episodes (kyaaing with happiness), but some will probably end. I have no eyes and time for more, to be honest, and there are some older ones I'd like to watch as well.
Not that anyone should care what I think about this-and-this drama, but since I started to do such short reviews and explaining why I'm watching, I decided to write again. As all reviews, be it mine or anyone else's, it is subjective. Highly subjective. Sometimes it's my personal whim why I start some dramas, sometimes plot interests me, and sometimes the names. Yes, I do watch dramas for names.

Historical background
For upcoming drama Gyebaek.
Those who watched last crappy episodes of Queen Seondeok probably know the places mentioned in this article. Because about those battles both Kim Yushin and hwarang Alcheon reported standing before Queens's tomb. It was seen from the Shilla side. Now we will get Baekje side.
Oh damn, did I make a spoiler for those who haven't seen QSD yet? Mianhae, Queen dies. Bidam too.
*evil laughter fading*
Gyebaek
In theory - lots of free time. Practically - few hours by night. But drama summer looks interesting enough to give up the sleep. Few dramas that started in spring or late spring will continue, of course, but the line up looks mighty impressive. When Miss Ripley ends its run, Gyebaek starts. And I find it kind of funny, because in Gyebaek one small role has also Park Yuhwan, the little brother of our international sweetie, Yucheon. Anyway, Gyebaek's actors front looks great:

Gyebaek - first interview
From this interview I have the sense more of taeha than sageuk, but I do hope it won't be the former. I mean, I don't mind it, but sageuk is more watchable anyway. Don't get me wrong, I loved Yi San and QSD, but recently Dong Yi, Gwanggaeto and Geunchogo disappointed me a bit, and sageuk are getting better and better. And I'm soooo heppey to see Mr. Ahn Kilgang in this one, oh my! What a happy day!

Summer Drama
I may say that, right? Summer... eh, summer...
Some may think I have tons of free time to spare, because I'm rewatching few drama. Well, it's not like that, but when I feel like the current ones are in the shortage (I dropped few already, and 49 Days ended, Midas ended), what is left?
Then, what's on my list? The list in the sidebar is updated, but it's incomplete. The thing is, I'm expecting also dramas that look like a total crap, I won't put them on the list, but I wait for them nonetheless.
Don't have to repeat myself about Ripley, right? In Korean media it is still Miss Ripley though.
Although the drama looks like a typical one in the genre, I DON'T CARE (in CapsLock, see how much I don't care?). Yucheon said about his character that Yutaka will start with a grin, but end up broken. That's all I need.
I have some fetish on tormented guys...

Omo, oh noez!!
If Yi Seojin wasn't enough to make me vow to watch this drama (Gyebaek), the new addition to it will make me glued to the screen. Jeon Nomin, because it was him who was recently added to the cast, is on my list of admired men. As I wrote someplace else when writing about Royal Family - his elusive, blurred, uncertain Eom Gido was the one and only reason for me to start this drama and watch whole 7 episodes. Maybe I should finish it anyway? But the rest of the characters are not that interesting. So yes, July, come quickly! Ah, historical drama with such topic, and of course with solid (have no doubt) performances. I just beg - don't use idiotic CGIs like in Geunchogo, pretty please.
