「キャスティング後、『２０年ぶりに激情的なラブロマンスを見せる』という記事を読んだ時は少し戸惑いました。２人のキャラクターには必要不可欠な、愛 に関するシーンです。でも放送上、限度はあると思います」 夫である俳優のソン・ジチャンについても触れた。「前作『甘い人生』で濃密なベッドシーンを演じたときには何も言わなかったのですが、２年たった最近に なって、彼から『少し過激すぎたんじゃないか？』と言われて当惑してしまいました。夫が気にしなくても、周りからは心配されていたようです。でもたぶん、 立場が変われば私も嫌な思いをするだろうな、と思います」とオ・ヨンス。それでも「彼も同業者。あまり仕事のことには深入りせず、けんかもしないですよ」 と、夫婦仲の良さもアピールした。
