Premises

I was thinking (yes, it happens sometimes to me. Extremely painful. Kids, don't do that at home!) of my lost chances in life. But instead of depressing myself and reaching Mariana Trench of self-esteem piercing, I looked down on the bright side of it. Ironically there is one. And what's more ironic in it - it started (not, not with a kiss) with SKKS. Even though Park Yucheon was my little darling in DBSK, I have sworn I would never watch any drama with an idol after suffering whole 30 minutes of Heading to the Ground. So this was on my ME-NOT-WATCHIN-AND-DO-NOT-PERSUADE list. Gender-bender and pretty, pretty Park Minyeong as a fake boy was just a big extra reason for it.
The scale of my mistake I understood somewhere in the middle of the first episode.
So I said to myself: Do not judge the book by its cover! So that you won't have any regrets!
So I did.

The Greed, The Power, The Payback

Midas was the king of Pessinus, capital of Phrygia, a region in Asia Minor. He was the adopted son of Gordias and Cybele and was well known for his pristine rose garden and love of the pleasures of life.
(...) The leader of the satyrs, entrusted with Dionysus' education, was Silenus. One day, completely in character for a satyr, Silenus became intoxicated and passed out in Midas' rose garden. The peasants found him and brought him before their king. Luckily, Midas recognized Silenus and treated him well for five days and nights. During this time, Silenus entertained Midas and his court with fantastic tales.
Dionysus came to Midas and was glad to be reunited with Silenus his surrogate father. He decided to reward Midas for his hospitality and granted him one wish. Midas wished that everything he touched be turned to gold. Dionysus warned him about the dangers of such a wish, but Midas was too distracted with the prospect of being surrounded by gold to listen. Dionysus gave him the gift. Initially, King Midas was thrilled with his new gift and turned everything he could to gold, including his beloved roses. His attitude changed, however, when he was unable to eat or drink since his food and wine were also changed to unappetizing gold. He even accidentally killed his daughter when he touched her, and this truly made him realize the depth of his mistake. Desperate, Midas pleaded to Dionysus for help. Dionysus instructed Midas to bathe in the headwaters of the Pactolus River, and the wish would be washed away. Midas went to the river, and as soon as he touched the water, the river carried away the golden touch. The gold settled in the sands of the Pactolus River and was carried downstream to Lydia, one of the richest kingdoms in the ancient world and the source of the earliest coinage. (...)

Winter-end dramas

Even though I'm pretty busy with my current time-consumming drama (Queen of Reversals), I'm looking forward to some other dramas that start in February or March. I may also check the MBC project featuring Park Yuhwan, but still, my eyes belong to his hyeong^^.
It's been a year since we first heard the news about the Kimi wa petto Korean project, and I remember I was expecting this. I loved the japanese drama from the first sight (still do, as the rest of jdramas, that is 2 more, keke), and had slight doubts that movie remake wouldn't be as good. And then we witnessed what we witnessed. We were cursed, we were screamed at, we were hated over on DA, but slowly, slowly we started to feel that our attention has been screwed all over. Yes, I used bad word. Yes, I may offended someone by using it. But there is no word describing what we felt in any human or animal languages known to the world. We felt exactly like that. I want my time I spent on watching some bad movies/dramas/interviews, I want it back!!
That's why I'm cautious now.
But, back to the topic, I'm waiting for few dramas now.
1. New Tales of Gisaeng
2. Midas
3. City Hunter
4. Paradise Ranch
5. The Duo
