12 Men in a Drama

   I'm a bit snarky today. A lot happened this week, and in the end it left me both depressed and infuriated. To lighten my mood a bit, I started to watch 12 Men in a Year again, since there are subs already, and I'm not that self-conceited to say I don't need subs, because I'm so damn special I learned Korean while watching few dramas and through song lyrics. I need subs to get the jokes, just to name only one reason. D-A had couple of morons' invasions as well, no less destructive that Mongol invasion of Goryeo. 

Alien Sector 7

   A movie about a group of people in a closed environment fighting with some monster. No, not Alien this time. But the concept looks dangerously close. 

It's about a group of people... oh wait, I wrote that. One more time - it's about a mutated monster (because plain monster is so passé!) and people trying to survive its murderous insticts/appetite/failed-try-at-relationship. They are all trapped on an oil platform. I bet lightning strikes the tower and they will be out of electricity and phones.

I'm all for it. I hate movies in 3D, because as for me, they just cover up the flaws in script and/or directing. But I will watch this one when it's out. First reason? Ahn Seonggi. Second reason? Bloodbath.

And I can almost name the characters that will be dying one by one. The woman, played by Ha Jiwon will survive. As Ripley did.

The other lady, clean scientist, will probably die, just because she is the total opposite of the protagonist. Any comic relief will die too shooting out his last round of ammo, screaming: "Oh, come on, motherf*ck...! I don't have all day!!"... or something to this sort. Or maybe not, they ain't space marines after all.

2010 SBS Drama Awards

It was obvious Mrs. Ko Hyeonjeong will win. Among younger actresses there is Kim Hyesun and her. And I'm happy for Life Is Beautiful, and Song Chang-eui. What else? No Minwu getting New Star Award... hmm... Not convinced at all. And don't get me started on Lee Seunggi. Please.

Secret Garden Cast Interview

 

    Oh my, such a long hiatus. Trust me, not from my own fault. I threw a hell here to get my connection with the world, and I'm honing my claws for those who come on Monday to establish a normal, permanent connection in my flat. Oh my, poor souls, they don't know yet what will befall them! *shrugs*

There is so many things I'd like to report, so many things happened, like Golden Disk Awards, yes Yu Ah-in was the host at the ceremony, ladies, yes. Like the rumor of JYJ performing at KBS Drama Awards, keke.

Plus if anyone come across an interview with Kim Seong-oh, let me know, I love the man, and his Secretary Kim portrayal. Honestly, I think I'm watching this drama from the second episode mostly for his small scenes, ekhem...

King of the Sparkle Strikes Back!

   Latest fashion display of Yucheon just killed me, so I have to turn to something more appropriate. Well, considering tracksuit as appropriate, you may imagine my horror. Anyway, if only Hyun Bin wasn't that starved... He would be even more handsome and edible. That reminds me I haven't had any lunch and now it's dinner time.
