Arrow - The Ultimate Weapon
This movie is now in Korean theaters, but I was anticipating it some time ago, and waiting still for its wider release. Few reasons to watch this. First, and foremost - it's a period movie, and I can't just pass it. Second - it features bows and arrows, and this is one of my favorite weapons. Third - Ryu Seung-yong (류승룡) and that should prevent anyone from asking further.
The plot is intense, according to hancinema: 13 years after the King Injo Revolt, the Chosun Dynasty is attacked by
the Qing Dynasty of China. A young man named Na-mi leaves his
demolished village to find his young sister, Ja-in, and her fiance
Su-koon, who were to wed on the very day of the attack. While on his
mission to rescue her, he is being traced by Jushinta, a fierce Qing
Warrior, and his band of malicious men who are out to stop him. Na-mi
has but a day to rescue his sister before she is taken away to be a
slave. When Na-mi finally finds his sister, Jushinta comes between them
and a fierce battle between two of the finest warriors unfolds.
1636 - this is the year of the action.
What can be more thrilling that dirty, furious, merciless men fighting each other?

My Love (내사랑 )
I was drawn to this movie partially thanks to solid, very, very good cast, partially thanks to this poster which I find very nice, and partially thanks to my obsession with Kim Namgil-nim. The director's name is Lee Han. No? Still doesn't ring any bell? Well, this marvelous man used the stage name "Lee Han" up until 2008. Ekhem...
At first I was very sceptical to watch it. I thought "Damn, another movie about love, how am I going to go through this?". The answer is one - exeptionally well. I liked everyone in this movie, the characters were sketched, because not even portrayed fully, with finesse and freshness. The music was non-existant in some scenes which I also find nice. Plus, I found the way of directing and shooting also worth noticing.
It's not a perfect movie. There is nothing like a perfect movie. But as I said, I may like a total crap, because of my mood and inclinations, and I may bash a masterpiece because I don't like it. Simple as The Diva's mind. Ekhem...

Omo, Omo, Omoooo!!
Ha Jeongwu and Jang Hyeok in one movie. One of the best actors and one of the best bodies... Well, no, I'm unfair, JH is also a good actor, Ok^^... Ah, let me fangirl for a moment... So, you're forgiven for dropping out of the Secret Garden, although my heart aches still that I will not see you along Yun Sanghyeon... Shiiit, that reminds me of Sanghyeon's hair, brrr... change it, change it please.
The movie, tentatively titled as The Client, will be directed by Son Youngseong. Apart from Mr. Ha and Mr. Jang (the right Jang, not to confuse it with The Peach^^) in the movie stars also Park Heesun.

Upcoming movies
How do I put this. A gay movie. Not my fault that lately everything started to revolve around this. The Life Is Beautiful-gate hasn't ended yet. Damn, if they marry in this drama, I guess actors will be crucified. Crap, I made a religious reference, just sue me, please. And get over with it.
And don't ask me why there is a cat as the picture anchor.
