   Europe is not a country. Just a reminder to any journalist or CEO out there. Or even to some ignorant normal people.

One small mad girl

   I vow my undying pledge, on my love for cats and K-entertainment - I won't stay still! I will be reporting any shitty news about this issue. Because the blacklisting of one artist is just too much in the world we are living in.

True, I'm all immersed into Hellenic heritage. I worship the freedom (not degenerated, because people tend to twist the sense of freedom and turn it into the anarchy, as Epictetus said: Freedom is not procured by a full enjoyment of what is desired, but by controlling the desire), and I can't understand how on freaking Earth and in Hell this can happen!

And I repeat what I wrote in one of the comments here. For me it looks as if SMEnt was backfiring because of the JYJ's recognitions and honors many organizations are giving to them. They are ambassadors to, perhaps, seemingly useless things and events, but this may tickle someone. And I bet it did.

I don't want to sniff what's not there, and I don't believe in any conspiration theories, but this just doesn't look normal. Excluding one member of the drama cast to appear on the show is just beyond my rational capability to perceive and understand the world.

Not to mention the biased news from few months back (about KARA and JYJ's issues).

I know fully my position and limited range of ways to fight back. I can call it one of the biggest stupidities I have ever encountered ever since I started to follow the Korean path. And I thought SMEnt slave contract (yes, without quotation marks, cause it's not a nickname as I see it, but a real name) was idiotic and repulsive in terms of world definition of "personal freedom".

Machiavelli wrote many nice sentences, but I suddenly remembered one and looked up for it. It's about the current situation a bit. I hope boys will establish their name strong enough to not be easily broken and shattered down, despite all troubles from many sides.

New Tales of Gisaeng: some new pictures

   Drool alert. In case anyone is watching this - in Ah Damo's room there is this black-and-white picture on the wall, right? Each time I'm watching that in the drama, I'm thinking about pausing and lic... I mean licorice eating, ekhem... Good for your health, they say. Licorice, that is.
So, what was I... ah yes, this hanging picture. In case anyone has one, contact me.

Jeong Jaeyoung - just because

   I think it's been some time already since I posted random pictures or news. As for the latter:

Target acquired - Yucheon

   There was a talk in April that the cast of Ripley would appear on '놀러와' (Come and Play). Turns out - not that fast. It seems like the blacklisting of Yucheon continues. He never made any appearance on 3 major broadcasting stations during SKKS, and now this. Of course, there was a proposition to invite all the cast except for Yucheon, but this heinous proposition was rejected.

So, even though the court ruled SMEnt claim as being against the law, it seems that the overwhelming presence of the Emper... oops, I mean the SMEnt is too strong to be fought off. The resistance is useless. As Darth Vader said it once: You are beaten. It is useless to resist. Don't let yourself be destroyed as Obi-Wan did. 

And no, no connections whatsoever.

But weird, the image of the Emperor pops up every freaking time I hear something like that.

A spokeperson said that the schedule for the shows is packed up, so it's not easy to find a free spot for Ripley cast.

General Gyebaek

   The drama is scheduled to air after Ripley will finish its run, that is on Monday/Tuesday timeslot. It is supposed to have 32 episodes. Tentatively title is Gyebaek.

Gyebaek was a general in 7th century in the kingdom of Baekje, fighting with Shilla. There is not that much known about him, including his personal life, so this can make a great opportunity for screenwriters. And the writer for this drama is Jung Hyung-soo (Damo, Jumong). The drama will be helmed by Kim Geun-hong (Daejanggeum, Jumong, Dong Yi, Queen Seon-deok,Yi San).

And the role of Gyebaek will be played by Lee Seojin (Lovers, Hon, Yi San, Damo, Shadowless Sword), so this is the main reason I'm reporting this. I like his characters. I also like him in the interviews, especially one of his statements stayed in my mind.

Irritated fan is worse than a hornet

  

   On April 27th, JYJ fans launched a newspaper advertisement to show their displeasure with JYJ being blocked from appearing on broadcasts. With the tagline of "You're going to sing on TV? YOU?" and the theme of "101 Ways to Block JYJ from Broadcasts," the advertisement was designed to resemble the publication of a book. (Source: Ilkan Sports Translation: koreaboo)

The court hearing was scheduled to be on April 19th, but it was postponed for a month. Again.

   Not only Yucheon, but well... His cut has whole 13 seconds. Yes, that beats 15 seconds of KNG cut I did once. Ekhem...

Plus, The Greatest Love cast interview. I don't think I like Yu Inna, but everyone can feel otherwise. But it's worth it for Gong Hyojin and Cha Seungwon. Even though I fear Hong sisters' script.

I know I'm slacking lately, but will be back on tracks this upcoming week. Lots of things to report, new dramas that we are anticipating, The Diva's new album and WORLD Tour (keke), oh damn, so much to bas... I mean to express the purest delight about!

I have a weak spot for Lee Seongyun, I loved him in Coffee Prince, and in Pasta as well (even though he was yelling almost all damn time), but it's in his movies he is really admirable. He's rough and raw like an unpolished diamond, but at least he doesn't sparkle like an idiot being just a Svarovsky Crystal, pretending to be a diamond.

He IS a diamond.
