[Movies Review] DPRK Movies, Or How Great Is Our General!

 

The first 10 movies I will be presenting here, were completely random, maybe except for "The Flower Girl". I just watched what generator actually shown. That's why those are movies mainly from the 80s and 90s. With the next 10, I will try to be more selective (maybe Bulgasari, who knows), however I don't promise I will watch "The Sea of Blood" once again.

There are 34 movies on my list and I live-tweeted each and every one of them when I watched, so if anyone wants to re-live the moments - go there. Some were a good entertainment and some were boring or not good.

2017 Z-Class Movies (Part 1)

It is safe to say that the first half of this year was pretty intense, when it comes to fighting giant snakes or battling a group of Tasmanian devils. And since I'm trying to keep every Friday as a Z-Class movie Friday, I decided to divide in two the list I planned to make in December like last year. Therefore, in 2017 there will be two lists, one now, at the end of June (because I will have troubles watching in August, so less movies), and another at the end of the year, rounding up all these awesome movies I have the pleasure to watch and live-tweet.

And since action in these movies starts around 15 seconds in, we're jumping into the list right away!

Watched in 2016 - Z-Class Movies

Friday evening, a relaxing bath, a gallon glass of wine - all this sets up a perfect mood for watching a movie. And what is more relaxing than watching sharks eating people? Or tremors swallowing up the Eiffel Tower? You are absolutely right - not much.

My affinity for Z-class movies stems from the deep need of human psyche - to see bad guys get what they deserve and to experience a total havoc wrecked upon the face of the Earth... I mean the... ugh, anthropological value, yeah.

Science fiction

Image relevant as hell.

   Many authors had inclination to 'what if'-ing about the future. Usually the future in cyberpunk genre or dozens of sci-fi movies looks dark, apalling and cold. I have always liked movies about totalitarian systems, maybe my own historical background, I have no idea. Tyrants and opression were my favorites topics, except for treason.

Today, ACTA was signed in Tokyo. Virtually all countries of EU will be bound by one law that stretches throughout the entire world (yes, your beloved Japan and Korea too). This is not an angry post, surprisingly my depression took over anger at this very moment. 

But worry not, I will b*tch about that later.
